A long standing issue of the original mod was the fact that bots had effectively infinite range causing them to sometimes pathfind across continents. You think you can limit it so they behave more sanely like regular bots?

Do you think this should be a per-player setting? or a per-save setting?

Personally I feel it makes more sense per-save even if I would personally enjoy the flexibilty to customize it per-player.

The regular bot range is intentionally designed with a set limit as a game mechanic, so that you have to work to increase it (more roboports). Having this mod not follow the same logic would feel like even more of a cheat than it technically already is.

This feature, and a setting to force the search area to be clamped to the player (when in remote view), has been added.
