Could we get a hotkey, remote, or quickbar button that will let us recall them to our side. Such as when one is taking biter damage, or when we are running past a biter nest, and didn't mean to agro them?

Need recall very much. When they encounter a large Biter nests, they will lose control and even we will lose them.

I wanted to add improvements to drones to the research tree :)

This is implemented, just turn off combat shortcut and they will come back to you

Yes this needs to be a thing. their leash is infinite, I had one stuck in a nest too large to take out and lost an hour including giving up and loading a save from before it.

Very nice mod! Actually felt sad when a long time drone met its demise, bc me being stupid.

Though, the lasers are a bit to powerful in a new game, maybe add some research tiers?
Something that would be supercool would be some xp-leveling like heroturrets, I'll add it to santa's list.
