g Permission request for Cobalt integration into LDA-LIB

Hi! I’m the developer of LDA-LIB (LUIS DAS ARTIMANHAS - Utility Library) for Factorio.

I’m building it as a reusable utility/framework mod so other mods can depend on common content and mechanics instead of reimplementing everything.

I really liked your Cobalt mod and I’d like to ask for your permission to integrate/support its cobalt content inside my library as a built-in standard resource (with full credit to you, of course).

My goal is to make commonly useful materials available as shared dependencies for other mods, similar to how some framework mods provide common systems or resources.

If you prefer, I can also keep it as an optional compatibility layer instead of bundling it directly.

With your permission, of course.

Hi.

First: It's not my mod. I forked it and updated it to 2.0. See the description for a link to the original mod. Since it's MIT, you don't really need a permission, but it's very kind of you to ask first (as any polite person would do). For me it's ok. You decide if you want to ask the original author as well.

Second: I had a similar idea and started with providing the buidlings from Hurricane and new belt colors in a library mod. Other modders were not interested in such thing. So don't expect others to use your library.

Thanks for the permission! I'll do the same in the original, I only realized because you mentioned it haha!

Regardless of whether people use it or not, I use it quite a lot. I don't want to repeat code that's already been written, plus it speeds up mods and usually only requires one update point. All my mods use the library by default; some of them require resources, and recreating it would be a waste... LoL

Although it's not software, I like using layer division. So I have adapters, bridge models, which helps with updates and the decoupling

Feel free to use it however you like. And if you have any suggestions for repetitive code, I'd be happy to add them.
