Just change the version in info.json and add icon_mipmaps after icon_size:

    icon_size = 32,
    icon_mipmaps = 1,

two times in prototypes/waterfill.lua and it should work. An official update would be nice, though. :-D

This is an essential mod in the exploration of the "water" concept, together with Cargo Ships. I hope the modder will continue to update this mod for newer versions.

I don't know much about factorio mods, so it's really a bare-bones workaround but I got it working for 0.18 with the new offshore pumps. You can place waterfill, but there's no visual indicator at the cursor. Ignore this after Canal Builder is updated past 0.17.6
