In real life, producing hydrogen using hydro electrolysis is very inefficient use of electricity.
You would use far less electricity to power an electric motor directly, than it would take to produce the hydrogen to do the same work in a gas combustion engine ( total joules of work preformed ) !
Also sodium hydroxide ( wood ash - lye ) is commonly used for an electrolyte in commercial hydrogen production units . Sulfuric acid isn't used that much due to the risk of creating 'piranha solution' vapors - an extremely corrosive acid that loves to eat organic material.

Thanks for your feedback! I was already planning to nerf the electrolysis reaction, but I'm now with some (personal) problems to keep my mods up to date but this is already in the todo list

About the sodium hydroxide, I think I will continue using sulfuric acid and just add lye as an option because not everybody has an easy supply of wood to feed the reaction and thanks for the informative lesson about chemical reactions
