You can reproduce this with the Booktorio example mod:
- load game, open one of the example wiki topics
- wait for an autosave
- try to load that autosave

For me it doesn't work, the wiki is still open and when I close it the world is frozen, no error though.

Manual saves are no problem because you can't save with an open wiki ;)

Okay, I just realized: you have to close the wiki, open it again and close it again, then the world unfreezes...

Strange, dev have changed something in Factorio GUIs again? Should be saved in global..

Teorically I have end the support of this mod but I will try to get some time
