Just had an experience tracking down the culprit of this issue, but whenever I picked up an item from my inventory/quickbar, or crafted a new item, all of my inventory would expel itself onto the ground, and I would get a bunch of messages saying the item was unable to be inserted.

I'm not sure how this mod got toggled off, but after disabling mods that I had added/updated I noticed this one was disabled for some reason. Upon enabling the mod again, my issue was fixed.
Just a warning if you disable this mod, on purpose or on accident.
