g Image quality?

I like the picture from afar, but it looks hella jpeg with any significant zoom... I looked in the mod files and while it is a sufficiently large 8Mb PNG the source image just seems compressed beyond reason. Don't know if it is the only original available (I haven't located the source) and it is just naturally grainy due to the technology this photo was taken with, but somehow still doubt it. Either way, if it's the best quality maybe consider using some AI photoshop (not upscaler) to make it look smoother. There are a lot of such services online but it's rather hard to find one that won't try to scam you and actually does what is needed. Maybe it is better to use some actual image editing software if you have one. I'm just too lazy and don't have any installed at the moment. But it can be done. That's the best I personally managed https://i.ibb.co/ykHHpHf/05d51aa5218f.png

Somehow looks worse in the game but at least a little better.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I didn’t realize how blurry the current image was until I saw the one you provided. I’m working on my graphics now, and based on your suggestions, the effect I’ve achieved so far is very close to yours. What’s surprising is that the file size has been significantly reduced. So, I’m considering doubling the resolution.

I’ve uploaded the new version, hope you like it

Thanks, looks very crisp now! Much better that what I could ever achieve with the old one myself. I see you divided it into four parts internally... No idea how that helps but that's why I'm not the modder here. Anyway, hope I wasn't too annoying speaking about things I don't really know that well.

I see you divided it into four parts internally.

The reason is much simpler than you might think. The game limits the maximum image size to 4096, but to ensure the image stays clear when enlarged, I created a new image at 8192. Then, by reducing it to 50%, it matches the original size but with a higher resolution.

Anyway, hope I wasn't too annoying speaking about things I don't really know that well.

Feel free to provide more feedback, and don't worry about it!
