Everything Narrative's Better Unlimited Ores

This mod provides unlimited ores:

  • Crude oil and other liquid ores will never deplete to lower yields
  • Iron and other solid ores can be infinitely mined at normal rates

There are a few reasons why this is 'better' than other mods:

  • Consistent ore yield is achieved through modifying the richness function during map generation, rather than a control script during play. Crude oil is left untouched, save that it no longer depletes.

  • The richness slider at map creation will dictate the yield of the corresponding ore. 100% richness gives the normal 0.5 ore/s, a 600% richness gives 3 ore/s, and a 17% richness gives around 0.083 ore/s.

(Version 0.1 of this mod attempted to make each tile 1% yield but adjust mining speed to compensate and ensure normal output, so that in the map view yield percentage would equal tiles of ore. This is not possibly due to floating point rounding errors accumulating and causing slightly lower-than-intended output.)
