Everything is in place to just use the mech suit gained from Fulgora as an avatar. Perhaps requiring usage of a specific building to still encourage use of normal vehicles through remote view when you are away from your base. This fits thematically with SA and provides options- Remote view from anywhere for quick fixes or emergencies, or head back to a "Mech Control Terminal" for normal user experience.
