Does it spawn only asteroids of the type that can be seen in orbit?i.e. Over nauvis it only spawns chunks, vulcanus is spawns mediums and below etc
Correct - It will check what asteroids(of type and size) that can be found at that location and will spawn those proportionally to existing spawn rates.
