I think this mod is somewhat imbalanced, drills are too slow and should be twice faster as they are now.

To feed 15 steam engines I need 12 drills, it`s too much.

The idea was to make these drills a last resort, so there's a reason to use the regular pump.

Yeah, if they work anywhere and are cheap to build that's fairly strong. Having to build a lot (space) and then having them use a lot of fuel seem like very reasonable balance levers for me. And nope, no comment notification on the mod portal yet. That's why many people still prefer the factorio forums.
