g More interesting gameplay than the "meh" vanilla overhaul

I like that it adds more interesting recipes than the more-of-the-same vanilla overhaul, which was a bit underwhelming.

Thank you :) !

It does indeed look interesting. Particularly the steam requirement!

Although I play MP almost always.. So you should host a game one of these days to try it out.

After playing with it a bit, I'll say what interests me most is simply the science pack rework. If this turns into an effort to get the devs (is there currently one underway?) to make changes, then there's two separate issues:

1) the "meh" science packs; and
2) other balancing of the tech tree.

I do not have enough play time to be able to evaluate #2, even in vanilla; it's more tricky. The "meh" factor of #1 was easy to evaluate.

Combining both of these into one mod clouds the issue. Is the concern about general balance or about the uninteresting science packs? The rebalancing/prereq changes don't make it "more diverse and interesting" to use the mod's tagline, IMO; it's the science pack rework that does that.

Every change in tech tree (and uranium handling) is made to allow it to be part of science as nuclear fuel cell. These changes never ment to be more significant that they are absolutely must to enable uranium in science. (On that note, Nuclear warheads costs and fuel cell energy value may need to be adjusted to compensate)

What VaderY says is completely right. This mod is only about changing the science pack recipes to more interesting ones - I don't care for the Techtree at all. There are just some small adjustments to techtree to make the new recipes work.
