This is a work in progress mod that enables a player to play the game solo. A solo player can manage alliances with other solo players and set their spawn. It does this via creating a new team when you declare independence.

Declaring independence

If you're part of the default player force, the Alliance UI button gives you the option to start a new solo team. Starting a solo team gives you various bonuses:

  • Current research is transferred to your new team
  • You no longer share research with other players
  • Bonus reach distance
  • Bonus inventory space
  • Mining speed bonus
  • Damage reduction to your structures if you're offline

Configuration

  • Declaring independence / Bonus reach distance (Default: 30)
  • Declaring independence / Bonus inventory space (Default: 30)
  • Declaring independence / Mining speed bonus (Default: 100%)
  • Declaring independence / Damage reduction to your structures if you're offline (Default: 90%)

Notice

This mod changes the forces on players and will break any mod that modifies player forces. There is no intention to work with other team related mods as it really only makes sense to be running one at a time. If you experience an issue, please report it.

I made this mod for a small group of friends I play with, so the features are limited. I'm open to requests but generally fit this to my needs.
