How does this interact with AAI Vehicle Automation?

It doesn't. It shouldn't break anything in AAI, but you also can't control the drones with AAI.

I am thinking about AAI integration, but I can't think of any good solutions or opportunities atm.

If the drones are units, not vehicles, then I wouldn't worry about it, other than maybe using AAI signals to let flares be auto-placed.

But it might be easier to do a "flare artillery" instead.


Totally adding this to my C&C:RA run, btw. Wish you included helicopters, but their movement would be a PITA to script.

And I've found a bug when used alongside AAI.

You can't put a scout flare within AAI's "you can't build near biter bases" range.

Please could you make it not a building? Not everyone plays with infinite construction range.

I think the flare could probably be changed into a capsule. I need to check that.

The flare is a building because of the smoke - currently I don't know how to create the smoke manually...

The flare is a capsule now, I hope that fixes the "you can't build near biter bases" issue.
