Beacons But Better


Flatter, cleaner and more advanced beacons. Add more modules, use productivity, drive over beacons, and use the old low res textures. Change and customise whatever you like about the beacon.

it would probably be more realistic if either the small antenna has a collision hitbox or the antenna gets removed, though the first would make it harder to drive over and with the second one you'd lose the lighting effect, neat mod tho 🤔

The issue is I believe you can only have one colission mask per entity, meaning it would be impossible. I will look into confirm whether this is accurate or not, as if I can, I will make the antenna be solid.

ehmm, actually, i made that mod, and it only reverses the animation to go into the ground instead of into the air, i couldn't come up with a good enough thumbnail to represent it so i just picked the base beacon thumbnail for it 😅

Oh ok thats funny lol.

Im looking at it now and it is impossible to add multiple colission masks to a single entity.
My next method would be to have a seperate (invisible) entity spawn ontop when you place a beacon which would have the collision, then use that to act as the antenna. However this wouldn't work on currently placed beacons so I am not sure it is worth it.
