g Why is all equipment so massively huge? [Solved]

How come everything is 4x4? I get that you're designing these for trains and you want limitations on how many per car, but seriously who is ever going to use a searchlight if it takes up 4x4 space in the grid? Or a radar?

Some of these would be really useful to put in other vehicles or on your personal equipment grid too, if they weren't so ridiculously huge. In order to balance with the other equipment already in-game, I feel like most of these should be 2x2, and some like the searchlight 1x1. Otherwise why not just put 4 lasers instead of that 1 machine gun?

I agree. Just made them 3x3. 2x2 will not have enough space for shields.

So, uh.. stupid question, but I can't actually equip anything from the equipment. Just Space Age + Turret library for testing, I can't insert any of the items from this mod into modular armor or spidertron grids. It appears as if none of the items are assigned what they can actually be inserted into, and the list of "Placed in equipment grid" is missing the "Placed in" list, compared to the armor and vehicles that are listed in things like the personal laser defense.

Is this intentional, only designed to be equipped in vehicles from your other mods? Given that the Naval Turret Base Defense turrets don't directly use any of the equipment versions, but need this mod, hiding the recipes if the vehicle mods are not installed could help with crafting inventory clutter

I could put the equipment into vehicles but I couldn't find how to make them work.

I think they aren't intended to be used by other grids.
