It doesn't seem to be filling every available space with trees like it used to.
Areas that aren't vanilla forests on maps generated in 0.15 using this mod look like this, with a substantial amount of space in between the trees: http://imgur.com/a/vjoZe
Mods used doesn't matter. Even with this mod on its own this still occurs.
