diongham, the creative mode mod has a way to fix the time and to set it so it never changes

The same result can be achieved client side (without a mod, or disable achievements) by changing

color.rgb = color.rgb * light.rgb;

to

color.rgb = color.rgb; // * light.rgb;

in

factorio/data/core/graphics/shaders/game.glsl

It does not work with "long reach" mod. Long reach is disabled when this mod is loaded.
