Unfortunately no. Without getting into too much detail, the status bars mod essentially just draws a second copy of the "normal" status bars in the same position on the screen. The new bars are not considered part of the hotbar GUI and so they do not affect the chat position. So to keep chat from moving around, this mod hides the the "normal" status bars from being drawn at all, and requires the status bars mod so that the bars are still visible.
