I have a few of the cleaners setup at a support train loader, and I just got this error that causes the game to return to the main screen. I don't have any knowledge about modding, so not sure whether this is enough information? I run Factorio version 0.16.23

Sorry for the late reply. Can you tell the mods you are using? I've done multiple tests and there wasn't any error.
I suspect another mod (in some non-understandable way)
