The launch pad is under the hood composed of several entities, a combinator which sends you the signals of what the launch pad contains and other helpful signals. A storage tank for loading the rocket fuel, as well as a storage container for whatever you load in the rocket!
By default the alt-mode overlay from all of these 3 are shown on top of each other in the middle of the launch pad.
This mod allows hiding the overlay from the combinator and the fluid tank.
Here's a random screenshot. In the bottom right launch pad you see the overlay from the fluid tank. On the other two you see the fluid tank symbol as well as the storage

The mod only scales the icon for the inventory for the launch pad and allows hiding the other two, as it looks kinda weird with them there ontop / under the large icons.
