What should I do if I only want the productivity bonus of the science pack, but closing the production of the science pack requires the parent science pack? My current archive has been opened at too high a scientific multiple, and it's really difficult to add this mechanism to this super doubled archive
It's not currently currently possible to only enable the prod research but I could add an option to do so on the next release pretty easily. I'll let you know when it's done. It could be in the next few days.
In the 1.2.0 release, you can now set the "Pack recipes change" option to "No changes" and the recipes will not be modified. You will still have the productivity researches.
