I'm new to Factorio modding but I've sort of managed to make the mod work for 2.0 and Space Age. I ran into issues with the sweatshop appearing as full to inserters, so I've removed it and made duck parts and the duck itself craftable in assembling machines. It's not ideal but it works.

I see that the mod is licensed as MIT but you don't have a link to a repo. Would you be interested in a copy of my changes as a starting point?

I'm not sure about taking over, I don't feel like my fork meets the original's standards with the sweatshop being missing. Maybe you could include a link to my fork in the mod description while mentioning that caveat?
