It would be nice if you could make the units have the colour of the player in multiplayer and allow you to change them in singleplayer. But don't colour the entire unit, instead parts of it, as it will look bland. Thank you in advance.

yes, i till look into having team colour masks for the units. I'm not sure if the "Unit" type supports that, it's possible only players and vehicles do. I'll ask a dev.

probably not, for the Biters are very low priority for the developers. The Robot Army mod uses Biters with custom skins and weapons/code to operate, so are restricted by what features are provided to Biters within the base game. Right now, biters only ever have one 'team', so the devs haven't done 'team colours' for them as a feature. Maybe in the future? But when? Years? I don't know :(
