I'm finding with road grid enabled, my RAM usage on large worlds (tile-wise) is getting quickly out of hand. On my current save the game sits at around 16GB used, while transport drones (presumably the node map) accounts for 90%+ of it.
Would it be possible to add a setting to change the grid to nonfunctional roads? As I get later in the game I typically switch away from the drones, but the grid is very nice for enforcing building in a somewhat neat manner. Being able to switch from it actually being road to road-but-not-functionally-road would be a nice fix for this.
