Pyanodons Streamlined


Provides settings to make Py a more polished experience. Organizes menus, updates graphics, alters names & descriptions for improved searchability and clarity, adjusts the tech tree to be less cluttered, rebalances recipe speeds to make scaling up more gradual, and more. All changes are fully configurable via the settings.

b [addressed] biter difficulty adjustment

Starting with biters on did not seem to change where turrets, walls, and military are in the tech tree
Edit: its in the mod settings, I don't know why it didn't occur to me to check, if anyone else is crazy enough to have biters now you know

Edit edit: gunpowder does require saline and splits off at fluid washing, perhaps it could be moved back when biters are enabled

Ah. I'll make the saline recipe available on the route to the military tech in that case. Added it to evaporation processing if you select "yes" for the technology adjustments setting.

For the combat-related tech changes, would it help to explicitly mention on the mod portal page that it's a setting? I'm guessing this line is where the confusion arises, since that could imply automatic detection of whether biters are enabled or not:

  • Combat-related techs (gun turret, stone wall, military, etc) moved to the next science pack or later (if biters are disabled)
