it looks like the research is changed to only affect tungsten and lithium asteroids and doesn't affect regular asteroids. Is this intentional?

Ah, for some reason factorio will download the old version of the mod, not the new one. I wasn't able to update in factorio but manually updating it works.
For some reason it believes the 0.1.667 version is more updated than the 0.1.9 version. You should probably fix that.

I'll try just giving it a higher version number, because otherwise I have no idea why it wants to default to the older version.
