For those who prefer the non mobile-game look for their shortcut icons.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
First I use the mod that doubles the size of the shortcut icons. (This mod may not be needed when I upgrade to v2.0.18)
Then I edited the shortcut icons in the game to remove the white dashed line boarders. Following is a link to how it now looks in my game. (v2.0.14). (Have not done this to v2.0.18 yet.) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3359721172
