I ran into a few issues with Vulcanus. I couldn't find a way to mine calcite to unlock the relevant research. I ended up cheating in a small calcite patch (just 5), which was enough to move forward.
After that, I crafted a Foundry, but it didn’t unlock the Big Mining Drill. I had to cheat again to bypass that research.
Now I can continue and start producing Vulcanus science, which looks like another fun puzzle to solve.
For Gleba there is also a problem with researching it but another thread is covering that already.
For context: I’ve already finished setting up the other researches on Nauvis
also I have set-up Fulgora, though I didn’t set it up to be self-sustaining. I’m shipping in iron to create filters locally in exchange for science.
Overall, I’m having a blast with the mod. It feels a bit unbalanced at times, but I don’t mind; the bots seem perfectly happy building 2000 chemical plants + other infrastructure just to extract a bit of uranium ore!
