DT and uranium fuel cells should stay as they are, I'm not implying those should changed, only the vehicle fuels such as the biofuel, fuel and advanced fuel to be turned into chemical fuel. It's mostly for compatibility's sake rather than for balance's or immersion (frankly I never bother with balance or minmaxing, I just do whatever feels fun).
There are also a bunch of other vehicle mods that only recognize vanilla fuel types, so we cannot use K2 fuels in them by default. Boilers and furnaces can already burn vehicle fuel, so why can't anything else?
Also nuclear fuel can't be made in K2 as far as I know (unless you wanna change that too wink wink)
Even if cars and tanks can accept nearly all fuels, it's still better to use vehicle fuel in them anyway due to the lack of penalties, or bonuses they provide
