An in-game notepad
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
Undo doesn't work.
Opening notes always keeps the whole page selected and pressing any key will unrecoverably remove all the content.
Also, hard to get out of it with keyboard only.
