When using Learning By Doing (0.1.2), Logistics is researched by crafting 300 Yellow Transport Belts which then unlocks Yellow Undergrounds and splitters. You start with yellow transport belts unlocked, fair enough.
When using Wooden Logistics (2.4.2) , Yellow Transport belts are removed from "starting" research and moved to be behind Logistics, you start with Wooden Transport Belts. By itself this just forces you to research Wooden Logistics (Undergrounds + Splitters) before researching normal Logistics with Automation Science because Wooden's are required in the Yellow's recipe. This is fine because the research is done with red science, not the requirement that the research unlocks.
These each work normally on their own, but because of the specific way its set up when they are combined it causes Yellow Transport Belts to be locked behind the Logistics research (because of Wooden Logistics mod) and the research required to unlock Logistics, is to craft 300 Yellow Transport Belts (because of Learning By Doing) which is impossible.
This could be fixed by forcing the player to start with yellow belts researched even if Wooden Logistics is enabled (which typing it out, seems like its probably easier said than done. If the intention of that mod is to remove Yellow Belts, forcing them back on could be a challenge.) The solution that is more graceful towards Wooden Logistics would be to change the research to cost 300 Wooden Transport Belts instead of Yellow Transport Belts when they are both installed, which after typing them out the second one seems like the better solution either way, but I don't know anyways I'm just making the obvious suggestions. I was unsure about bothering either of you creators about this incompatibility but you wrote in your description that it "should be compatible with other mods adding content," so its not an expectation but if its something you're on the lookout for I don't mind spreading the word ;)
