Features
Prevents dangerous asteroids from spawning in planetary orbits, keeping Space Platforms safe. By default, only applies to the orbits of Nauvis, Vulcanus, Fulgora, and Gleba, but can be expanded to other planets, as well as to the routes between planets via mod settings. Maximum asteroid size can be modified on a per-planet basis. Does not prevent harmless resource chunks from spawning.
Settings
- Maximum asteroid size can be modified per-planet or space-location. If set at the vanilla asteroid size or above, then makes no changes.
- Interplanetary routes can also be affected via toggleable setting (but only between modified planets/space locations). Off by default, due to certain.. quirks. See Notes section below for more details.
Important Notes
The way interplanetary routes appear to be programmed, unless both the source location and target destination have the asteroid size limit enabled, the route between will not be safe, even if the route itself is enabled in the settings.
It appears that if the destination has asteroids not defined within the route itself, then it will simply linearly increase the amount of the asteroids from 0 to whatever the destination amount is.
If both the target and destination are set to harmless, but the route is not, then the route will have dangerous asteroids, that begin at 0, reach a peak at some point in the journey, and then fall back to 0 by the end of the route.
