I really like the idea of using kafka with factorio. I checked your poc link, but im not sure how to set it up. Can i set it up on a server and give it a try?. have any details on how to do it?

I'm just finishing up one of the last features that I think is necessary for a public release - connecting to multiple Factorio servers. If all goes well I'll publish it on GitHub.

I've worked on the setup so if you have a Factorio server all you need to do is install the mod, ask for an API key, and set up a way of forwarding the logs. If you want to host the backend Kafkatorio infra, then you can do so with a Docker Compose file.
