So when my friend suggested a playthrough with this mod I thought it's like sea block but for poor people XD.
After over 2000h of playtime (over 4k hours combined with my friend), I thought this mod is not gonna make me play more or keep me interested.

I was never more wrong in my life.

This mod as simple as it is converted the game in so many ways I would have never thought.
first, you have to deal with a relatively small island, you need stone, normally total useless after early game. in this mod it means everything. to discover new ore you have to use either a train or the Raven plane. the raven plane is awesome because you can't land on water or a small island. When you go Exploring you need enough fuel to get there and back, if you run out of fuel your dead. discovering a new island was very joyful because you never know what you gonna get, ore? the biggest Bitercity you ever saw? you don't know. And it's in total contrast to the wast ocean you live in.
I hate that biters attack all the time. Here you decide how to fight. It's basically D-day all day long. the island is packed with biters and when you want to liberate the whole island you first have to clean it but that is not easy when the whole island is plastered with spawners. So you have to establish a front from the ocean and fight tile for tile. there is always the risk to lose too many turrets and you have to retreat in some cases, retreat back to the ocean.

and many more aspects I'm too lazy to mention.
