Hello, is there a way to re-enable the Islands World mapgen during a game?
I had it enabled when i started the map but then for some reason it got turned off and gives me only solid ground past what i had already generated few months ago

If you still have a 0.16 save, upgrade to the latest version of Islands World and load it. I have fixed the bug that failed to upgrade.

If you have already saved at 0.17, you can enable it with the following console command after installing the latest version of Islands World -
'/enable_islands_world'

If you have already saved a solid ground map, you can delete it with 'Delete empty chunks' MOD etc.
