it hasn't seemed to. ore patches seem like the basic-game ore gen even with RSO. but i may just have been super unlucky.
yeah, it doesn't work with RSO, or at least, overrides RSO (perhaps if RSO set a optional dependency to force it's ore-gen to override island's ore gen settings it'd fix it...but idk.
