The steam crack often spawns on top of the platform itself, instead of outside like normal ores.

More specifically, when on a void world with no resources. Looking at the code, this appears to be because it looks for the nearest resource patch and spawns within 10 tiles of it, but if there are no resources, it just spawns within 10 tiles of the origin.

Thanks for the report. In 0.9, the fissure will now spawn further from the origin on barren worlds
