Replaces the Space Extension mod's FTL research which requires massive amounts of early science packs, with something more interesting
Small changes concerning balance, gameplay, or graphics.
It no longer requires any of the trailing techs to be researched, just the initial Theory tech.
That's the entire purpose of this mod: Replacing the boring FTL theory A-D tree with a more interesting option. It's literally in the first sentence of the description.
I thought you meant just adding the launch requirements, not bypassing it altogether.

I also doesn't disable the techs. Which is what it looks like you were going for?
It should disable the techs, and it does if you have it active from the beginning. Adding it later might mess with that.
And don't think it's bypassing anything. The new tech is at least as expensive as the old ones together ;)
