Installed this, after another starter mod I used failed to work as well. Checked for settings in the mod settings page and there isn't anything to enable or config from what I'm seeing; yet I spawn with nothing, this could be a conflict with another mod perhaps since tinystart and now this aren't working but any advice would be very much appreciated.

I have just tried it with a fresh download of factorio (1.0.0) and the mod (1.0.1) and it is working as intended.
Therefore, I would think that it is indeed a conflict with another mod.
Please try disabling and enabling combinations of mods to find out which one is causing it and let me know.

@Mutant15 could you please check that the "disable crash site" setting should is checked? On a test game of mine, the mod spawned the expected items inside crash site chests instead of my inventory.

The mod disables the crash site specifically to avoid this issue. I just added it to FAQ. If anyone figures out a better way, let me know.
