Currently one of the only uses I have for helmod still is that it has recipes for generating power as a thing to be selected for complex mod packs that have lots of different ways of generating power (Pyanodons Alternative Energy for the most recent example) would it potentially be a worthwhile addition to implement the same kind of system to figure out closed loop energy production?

Hello, this is indeed a useful feature, but quite complex to do I think. It's on the list, but I can't tell you when I might be able to get to it unfortunately.
