I like the idea. No such list exists in easy form right now. But can I assume you're native french?

i'm french yes and i speak spanish (a few)
and i know russian and german and dutch speaker/writer.

even if it's not really a local file like a mod, just the text extracted from the script will suffice, because I'm looking at python, I don't really know what I can or cannot modify.

I'm thinking the path forwards is to use something vaguely similar to the existing locale folder structure already used by Wube in Factorio.

Note: some of the strings have placeholders for the tool to insert text or numbers. %s means text. %d means number. Those placeholders have to stay in the existing order (for now).

example:
