I just had this same error. It was caused by placing down a blueprint of a factory with modules in it.

Edit: After further testing I believe it's a conflict with another mod Auto Ghost Builder. When I disabled it I no longer crash.

2.0.7 doesn't have this problem.

Seeing the same error when placing a blueprint with buildings that have modules in it.

Only mods enabled (other than base space age) are:
Bottleneck Lite
Far Reach
Orphan Finder (Fixed)
Squeak Through 2

I can place the string of the blueprint that I am placing that will consistently cause the crash.

As a work around if the modules are removed from the blueprint prior to placement, the crash doesnt occur.

Please check it in version 2.0.9

upgraded to 2.0.9 and it still crashed as before:

I am seeing it crash when placing a blueprint that contains modules, but am also seeing it crash (occasionally) when just copy/pasting a couple of buildings with modules. Doesnt seem to always happen with the copy/paste, but error code is the same.

I am also getting this error when I walk to near a placed blueprint from the prior version
