We can blueprint land mines and set set the blueprint to snap to grid. So this can be done in vanilla if you "just" place a mine perfectly in the center of a tile and blueprint it.
I've done this so you don't have to. Here is my blueprint book with several mine patterns (including just a single mine), a decon planner, and an upgrade planner for quality land mines:
