Robot Replacer

Utility mod to help replace/upgrade bots within a network. Bots in the replacer provider chest are released to the network when a bot of the same type, but different name is found in a roboport. The bots that do not match the provider are removed from the roboport and placed in the logistics storage network. Should work with all modded bots and roboports. *** Megabase warning: Chest is Calculation heavy when any items are in it. Only put bots in it and keep empty to idle efficiently. ***

Hello,
It appears the robot replacer chest does not seem to work from inside a factorissmio building. any ideas as to why?

factorissimo is on a different surface, and i imagine the search function peppe uses was coded for Nauvis, wasn't specifically designed to work on other surfaces. that'd be my guess though.
But...the factorissimo buildings are so small, you shouldn't need more than one or two roboports to supply logistics coverage to a MK3 factory, and since each factory is a different surface (a different map entirely, basically), a chest on the outside of any given factory will not apply /search/replace anything within a factory building (if that's what you meant) robots can't fly in or out of them, the only way to get robots in and out of a building is by sending them through one of the logistic channels around the factory
