This mod only adds ores, you need another mod, such as bobplates "Bob's Metals, Chemicals and Intermediates mod" to smelt them.
Other mods like 5dims (used to, not sure if it still does) can make use of the ores added by this mod, while other mods (It's either Angels or Omni that adds bobonium) provide alternate means to get these ores, which is why ores and plates(smelting) are in different mods.
