Ballistics Reforged


A rebuilt ballistics and battlefield-feel mod for Factorio 2.0 focused on projectile polish: physical bullet tracers, subtle/balanced/cinematic FX presets, impact layering, tuned shotgun behaviour, physical rockets with smoke and impact polish, arcing shells and throwables, turret projectile leading, and optional wall-blocked spitter shots.

Hi! I have not fully tested Ballistics Reforged with K2 / K2SO yet, so I do not want to mark it as officially supported until I can verify it properly.

It should work best with mods that still use normal Factorio ammo/projectile prototype structure, but because K2 changes combat, some features may be overwritten, duplicated, or feel different.

Combat Mechanics Overhaul is more likely to overlap because it also changes combat behaviour. It may load, but I would not recommend using both together unless you disable overlapping Ballistics Reforged startup settings such as physical bullets, physical rockets, shotgun rework, or wall-blocked spitters.

If anyone tests K2 / K2SO / Combat Mechanics Overhaul and sends me a log or screenshots of any issue, I’m happy to add a compatibility pass in a future update.
