g Autocraft vs HandyHands

To be fair much of my problem is probably just that I'm used to how HandyHands does things.

The big problem we've found is that in multiplayer if one person adjusts the Autocraft item in logistics, the adjustment affects the other player as well. The more we're working on different bits of the factory, the more of a pain that is.

I find HandyHands' interface much more convenient, though - hold something in my hand and press the key to increase or decrease the amount to craft automatically - although to be fair Autocraft does let me request arbitary amounts rather than a fixed set of fractions of one stack.

I'll have to do some testing on multiplayer. That isn't intended behavior.

I guess named logistics groups are shared across a force, which makes sense. I'll investigate if there is a way to make it per player.

The solution to this will probably be to add the player name to the autocrafting logistics group so that it isn't shared across players. I'll try to find some time to make this change.

Just make "Autocraft" as keyword for logistic groups, so any group with that keyword will work.

I thought about this a bit more. In all but the very earlier part of the game, the way HandyHands works by stack size is convenient, because unless resources are very short, one (or more) stacks is almost always what I want - the constraint is inventory size, not tying up a few hundred iron plates.

That said, it would be nice if it - and Autocraft - recognised when a craft produces more than 1 item. I grant you there's an argument that if I set a minimum of 50 small electric poles, yes, I should not be surprised when it takes me from 49 to 51 - but I probably just set that because it's the default. I'd suggest that for multiple-item crafts it regards the lower bound as a number to craft me up to, not to exceed.

Perhaps I should be more clear that I am very grateful for Autocraft. It is not quite what I was used to, but it is a vast improvement on playing without it, and does what I want more than any other 2.0 mod.

Just make "Autocraft" as keyword for logistic groups, so any group with that keyword will work.

This is a superb idea because it would then be possible to have "Autocraft Nauvis", "Autocraft Fulgora", and so forth - and I have very different wants on different planets. That really would put it ahead.
