When in a train, using the movement controls will automatically set the train in manual mode.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
Trying this mod in single player sometime works sometimes doesn't. Running in multiplayer however always desyncs the game.
I tried to fix the mod and failed... Hope the author can find the time.
